The Wellness Center is a joint effort of Pan American Academy, Temple University's Dept. of Nursing-College of Health Promotion, Congreso, Education- Plus Health, and the National Nurses Centers Consortium. Our purpose is to provide high-quality health care services within the school setting. The ultimate goal is to improve health outcomes of the students by having better access to health care, reducing the time spent out of school related to illness. With easier access to primary health care services, it is our hope that there will be less reliance on hospital emergency rooms, a poor substitute for primary care.

Experienced Nurse Practitioners who are able to provide primary care, which includes medication management and prescribing, screenings for common chronic conditions, required immunizations with parental/guardian consent. The staff also consists of consultants, instructors, and students who will assist with the functioning of the center.
