 Art:
Ms. Rufino teaches Art to all students grades K-7th. She earned
her Bachelors in Fine Arts(BFA) from The San Francisco Art
Institute. Currently, Ms. Rufino is working towards a Masters
in Education(M.Ed) with a focus on Art Education from Arcadia
University. When not teaching or planning lessons, she enjoys
spending time with her family. Ms. Rufino's school email is

 Computer
Science:
Ms. Thallmayer is teaching grades Kindergarten thru seventh in computer
science and grades three thru seventh in Study Island. Ms. Thallmayer develops and updates the school's website. She also
teaches a classroom within the Saturday
Stars Program for students in the fourth grade.
Ms. Thallmayer received her Masters of Education in Instructional
Technology, with a PA Instructional Technology Specialist
Certificate and Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and
Special Education from East Stroudsburg University. Her goal
is to integrate technology within content areas of curriculum
and help students apply appropriate technological skills for

 Physical
Education & Health:
Mr. McShain teaches Health and Physical Education to all grades,
Kindergarten through 7th. He received his Bachelors Degree
from Pennsylvania State University in Kinesiology with a minor
in Spanish. He also works in coordination with Pan American’s
Health and Wellness Center in regards to curriculum and community

 Spanish/Culture:
Ms. Cortes is the Kindergarten Spanish Bilingual teacher at Pan American Academy Charter School. She will also be teaching Spanish to our 4th-7th grade students. Ms. Cortes was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She attended the University of Barcelona and graduted with a B.A. in Special Education.
