Welcome to Pan American Academy Charter School! It is only with
the firm commitment to excellence of each of our students and parents
that Pan American can reach our goals. Therefore, we want to provide
you with the resources you need to stay involved and up-to-date
with school events, news, and policies.
Important Things
To Remember:
Our school has
a mandated school uniform policy. To purchase a student uniform,
please contact Cramer's Kids Uniforms at http://www.cramersuniforms.com
Parents are required
to volunteer 30 hours during the school year.
Schools hours
are 8:15am to 3:45pm except for early dismissal days. Every Wednesday
students are be dismissed at 1:00pm.
Breakfast will
be served 8:00am until 8:15am. All parents must complete the Lunch
application during the registration process.
Transportation
will be provided through a partnership with the School District
of Philadelphia. Students in grades 1 through 7 who live more than
1.5 miles from the school are eligible for transportation. Kindergarten
students are NOT eligible for transportation. If you interested
in receiving transportation services for your child please contact
the main office.
ALL students are expected to be inside their classroom by 8:15 am. Students arriving after 8:25 am MUST report to the main office to receive a late slip. No child will be admitted to a classroom without a late slip.
Parent Volunteer for the Month
Jessenia Rosario is a parent who is always volunteering her time at Pan American during the month of October 2011. She was present and helped to prepare students for the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Our school picture day was a huge success in part because of Jessenia's dedication to helping the students prepare to take their photos. Every other Friday is pretzel day. Jessenia is always at school helping to sell the pretzels and helping us in our fundraising efforts. Jessenia wants the very best for all of our Pan American students. She has two daughters, Isabella and Sofia. Thank you Jessenia for all that you do! |
