Mrs. Novalés brings 17 years of experience in Early Childhood, Elementary Education and School Administration to Pan American Academy Charter School. She was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Philadelphia. Mrs. Novalés received her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Temple University and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Cheyney University.

She also received a Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from Arcadia University. Mrs. Novalés has served as a teacher, program coordinator, assistant principal and school principal. Most recently she has served as the Chief Executive Office and principal of the Pan American Academy Charter school. Through her vision and leadership the school has made academic gains and has reached AYP for three consecutive years.

Dr. Darcy Russotto comes to Pan American Academy Charter School with over 20 years of experience in education. She started as a classroom teacher and has taught in kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grade. After spending 15 years as a classroom teacher, Dr. Russotto began to work coaching teachers in curriculum and instruction.

While in this position, she wrote and implemented new curriculum in kindergarten through high school. In her last position before Principal at Pan American Academy Charter School, Dr. Russotto worked on a grant funded project. This focus of this project was student achievement through improved teacher development. It was this project that connected her to the Pan American community.

Mrs. Madeline Gordian-Diaz has been an educator for fifteen years. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's Universtiy where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a Master's of Science in Education. She has two sons that are 19 and 15 years old. Mrs. Gordian-Diaz loves to cook, travel and relax on the beach. Siempre me encanta poder conocer nuevas culturas porque aprendo cosas nuevas. Me encanta y disfruto de ser bilingue. Ms. Donna Longo Scoleri comes to Pan American Academy Charter School with over 27 years of service to the School District of Philadelphia. She started as a school secretary, and then moved on to become a School Operations Officer and Finance where she was responsible for all operational and financial aspects of the school.

During her last 7 years with the District, Ms. Scoleri served as a Regional Business Specialist where she supported as many as 36 schools in matters of finance and compliance. Ms. Scoleri is a graduate of Immaculata University with a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Dynamics and is a member of the following organizations: Sigma Beta Delta; International Honor Society in Business, Management and Administration Alpha Sigma Lambda; National Honor Society for Adult Leaners in Continuing Higher Education Phi Theta Kappa; International Honor Society of the Two-Year College.

Mrs. Jerchau graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1978 and began her career as a special education teacher the same year. She taught grades kindergarten through twelve for many years. She received her Master’s of Education and Secondary Principal Certification from Arcadia University.

She also taught as an adjunct lecturer at the LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She is currently the Director of Student Services for Pan American Academy Charter School.
